Lead Pastor: David M. Slone
In September of 2018, Pastor David became the 39th pastor in the storied history of GLBC. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, he surrendered his life to the ministry in November of 2004 and has served in various levels of pastoral ministry since. He has a passion for preaching and teaching God’s Word, missions, apologetics, and evangelism. He married his help meet, Sarah, on June 20th, 2003 and they are the proud parents of Michael, Katelyn, Jackson, and Layla. He studied at Indiana Baptist Institute.
Senior Pastor: Edwin D. Button
Pastor Button has humbly served GLBC for over 40 years. He is highly respected by the Christian community for his work both in and outside the pulpit. Never satisfied with average, he goes above and beyond by serving in the fields of higher education, missions, counseling, and more. His heart’s desire is to reach this community with the gospel message. He received his education from Emmaus Baptist College.
