We know that it can be difficult to visit a new church but don’t let this stop you from coming to worship with us. The info below is provided to help you know what to expect when you arrive.
When does church start?
Our main service starts at 10:30am on Sunday.
How do I get there?
We are located on Gant Lake Road (C 478a) exactly 3 miles from both 471 and hwy 50.
Address: 1444 C 478A, Webster, FL 33597
How should I dress?
However you feel comfortable. Some people wear jeans and a shirt. Others choose to wear suits and dresses. However, most people are somewhere in between.
Do I need to bring anything?
We recommend you bring a Bible but it is not a requirement. The preaching will be done from the King James Version Bible if you wish to follow along. A few people bring a pen and paper to take sermon notes.
Will I have to raise my hand or stand up?
No, we do not want you to feel embarrassed in any way. People may recognize that you are a visitor and say hello to make you feel welcome. The greeter may even ask you to fill out a card. However, you do not have to do anything you are not comfortable with. We just want you to come and feel like you are among friends.
What is the church service like?
The average service will begin with singing both by the choir and congregation. Music is mostly traditional (hymns). After music, there will be a message preached by the Pastor. Then, an invitation is given for those who wish to pray alone or with the Pastor. Lastly, announcements are made and the service is dismissed in prayer. The typical service lasts about one hour from start to finish.
Where do I take my children?
We have a nursery available for infants and toddlers. Children in Pre-k up through 3rd grade are welcomed to participate in our children’s services (look for the bright red door). Our volunteers have all passed background checks and training. Some parents prefer to keep their children with them in the main service and that is fine also. Feel free to ask a greeter about our children’s programs and they will be happy to help.
